Terms of use

HONGCOMM is the service name of 주식회사 홍커뮤니케이션 (Hong Communication). ONTHEWAY Co., Ltd. distributes and operates the HONGCOMM audience app. The app provides event translation captions and speech playback.

1. Joining events

Choose a public hall or enter the PIN supplied by your event. No account is required. Event schedules, available languages and caption visibility are determined by the event organizer. A PIN locates a hall; it is not personal identity verification.

2. Captions and speech

Captions and speech use automated recognition, translation and speech synthesis. Speech, specialist vocabulary and network conditions may cause delays or errors. Confirm important figures and decisions against the original presentation or with the organizer.

3. Responsible use

Follow event rules and applicable rights when recording or redistributing materials and captions. Interfering with other users, collecting or sharing PINs without permission, or sending excessive server requests may result in restrictions.

4. Changes and interruptions

Event closure, organizer settings, faults or maintenance may change or interrupt the service. Contact the organizer or support if you experience a problem.
